Block Knob
We made our own series of imperfect round knobs to bring organic texture and personality to the clean lines of cabinetry. We love how the Block knob brings a point of view to your space with its soft square shape.
The Block knob started as a clay sculpture by artist and designer Hopie Stockman Hill, and was then hand-cast in unlacquered brass at a local foundry in Los Angeles.
Each piece is 100% unique and may have irregularities or imperfections, which we think makes them even more special. Unlacquered brass will patina with time. You can keep them bright and shiny with an annual brass polish, but we love the way unlacquered brass ages.
